CDF Family Orthodontics offers personalized treatment plans with either braces or Invisalign to address the unique needs of each of our teenage patients. These treatments can be offered on their own or as a continuation of Phase 1 orthodontic treatment.

Phase 2 Orthodontics for Teens
Ages 13 - 18
Phase 1 early orthodontic intervention is a key step in building a better smile. That said, even teenagers who haven't received early orthodontic treatment can still benefit from Phase 2 treatment after all their adult teeth have come in.
For children under the age of 12, potential orthodontic concerns can be monitored, and targeted treatments such as braces or Invisalign First can be used to target specific problems early on and reduce the likelihood of needing more invasive treatments later.
However, the real work begins after the adult teeth have emerged. Phase 2 treatment guides the permanent teeth to their correct final positions and enhances bite function.
For our teenage patients, we offer treatment with braces, Invisalign clear aligners, and TADs to straighten teeth and correct bite misalignments. For more severe jaw alignment issues, we offer surgical orthodontics. Based on their orthodontic issue, personality, and lifestyle, we can help you determine the best treatment for your teen.
