The Consultation Process

The initial consultation typically lasts around an hour and will be led by one of our treatment coordinators. We look forward to meeting you!

Arrive & Get Settled

We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to settle in and fill out any necessary paperwork. When you arrive, a member of our front reception team will greet you.

While you wait, you can relax in our comfortable reception area where we have a television for your entertainment.

We'll then take you to a private consultation room where you can wait comfortably for your appointment to begin.

Assessment & Diagnostic Imaging

We'll begin our consultation by gently discussing your concerns and what you'd like to achieve with your treatment. We'll also take a few 'Before Treatment' photos of your smile to help us better understand your needs.

Next, we'll perform a thorough exam. This will include some imaging to get a complete view of your dental health. We'll create a 3D digital image of your teeth with our iTero™ scanner, which we can use later to make any orthodontic appliance you might need.

We can also use the iTero scanner to perform a digital outcome simulation, showing you what your results may look like at the end of treatment.

Customized Treatment Plan

Once we review your records, you'll meet with our treatment coordinator to discuss your health history (if needed) and review the imaging results.

Our orthodontist will diagnose your condition and develop a customized treatment plan to meet your goals. We'll provide a comprehensive clinical diagnosis, a written summary of our findings, and a detailed treatment plan.

This plan will include treatment recommendations, a projected timeline for treatment completion, and an appointment schedule.

We'll also discuss a payment game plan for your treatment. This will include your payment plan, insurance coverage, and financing options, should you choose to take advantage of them.

Next Steps

To close the appointment, we'll discuss the immediate next steps to get your treatment plan underway and schedule your next appointment(s). We'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have and provide you with advice, guidance, and support throughout your entire orthodontic journey.

We believe that good orthodontic care starts with open communication. We promise to be honest with you about our diagnosis, recommendations, alternative treatments, and any symptoms that may need further attention. Together, we can create a true partnership with one shared goal: helping you achieve a beautiful, confident smile!
